Bespoke Storage for Family Home
When a home starts to feel cluttered or disorganised, it’s rarely about the amount of space available. More often, it’s about how that space is being used.
This project was all about creating practical storage across key areas of the home.
The Challenge
Our client wanted to improve how their home functioned day to day, particularly in three areas:
- A home office that needed better, more structured storage
- A hallway that lacked practical cupboard space
- An understairs area that wasn’t being used effectively
Like many homes, there were awkward elements to work around. Angles, existing layouts and the need to keep everything feeling light and open.
The goal was simple. Create storage that worked hard but still felt part of the home.
The Approach
Mat and James worked closely with the client to design each area around how it would actually be used.
The focus throughout was on:
- Clean lines and a seamless finish
- Making full use of available space
- Keeping the design practical and easy to live with
The Home Office
The home office needed to be a space that supported real working life, without the clutter.
Custom wall-to-wall shelving was designed and built to maximise storage while keeping everything visually tidy.
The result is a workspace that feels organised and easy to use day to day. Everything has its place, without the room feeling overcrowded.
Hallway Storage
Hallways are often one of the busiest parts of the home, but also one of the least organised.
Two bespoke hallway cupboards were built to provide storage for everyday items, helping to keep the entrance space clear and functional.
The cupboards blend into the space naturally, without taking over, while still offering plenty of practical storage.
Understairs Storage
The understairs area is often wasted or becomes a place where things get pushed and forgotten.
Here, it was transformed into a clean, usable storage solution that makes the most of every inch.
Designed to fit perfectly within the space, it provides easy access and helps keep the home feeling organised overall.
The Result
By approaching the home as a whole, rather than focusing on one area, the end result feels consistent and well thought through.
Each space now works better, looks cleaner and supports everyday life more easily.
